Cairo Leasing Corporation is the leasing arm of Banque Du Caire, providing leasing products and other financial & advisory services to the Egyptian market.
We are currently hiring “Senior Risk Officer”
He/She will be expected to :
To support Credit Risk Head in management of credit risk functions (mainly reviewing the CAM / Credit Application Memorandum & renewals presented by CAD department) to ensure smooth workflow, whilst maintaining high quality in a timely manner in view of CLC’s growing budget & portfolio.
• Support the Credit Risk team in the management of the credit risk function.
• Conduct thorough review and assessment of credit, financial, business and industry risks for credit applications.
• Coordinate closely with Business Development for required information / documents / modifications to the credit package.
• Comply with the company’s established standards for credit risk review.
• Prepare risk memos for credit applications.
• Ensure annual review of credit files are prepared in their due dates, monitor and review credit risk ratings for existing and new clients.
• Coordinate closely with other departments to ensure appropriate understanding and execution of risk management objectives and processes.
• Responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, management, remedial, and escalation procedures for non-performing loans.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Economics or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of experience.
•Mortgage background is a must.
• Experienced and competent in underwriting various types of complex cases
• Works independently, and with little direction
• Able to interact well with clients and relationship managers, willing to go on calls and help champion the case while understanding the important risk management issues
• Be confident to challenge issues when necessary
• Credit course certificate from a reputable bank or institution is a plus.

– Develop and implement financial strategies aimed at achieving company goals and increasing profits
– Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with accounting standards and local and international legislation.
Requirements
– University degree in finance, accounting or equivalent.
– Financial manager (at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years as financial manager for a joint-stock company specializing in food production).
– Deep knowledge of international accounting standards and local tax regulations.
